Gordon-Conwell / Flourish Admissions Policy
For Learning Tier 3 (Graduate Credit)
Students taking Flourish courses for personal enrichment or for denominational credit (Learning Tier 1: Audit or Learning Tier 2: Equipping and Certification) do not need to apply to Gordon-Conwell, nor does Flourish need to supply information about these students to the seminary. This admissions policy only applies to those who are taking the Flourish courses for Graduate/ ATS Credit (Learning Tier 3).
The only Flourish courses eligible for transcription credit are the original twelve (12) that have been agreed to by both Flourish and Gordon-Conwell and produced by Gordon-Conwell as well as any subsequent offerings agreed to by both parties.
Students who wish to have their Flourish courses transcribed by Gordon-Conwell must first become a Flourish student. Students who desire to have their Flourish courses transcribed for graduate level credit by Gordon-Conwell must:
Be registered in Flourish courses developed by Gordon-Conwell. See here for information on how to register.
Be admitted to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
a. For students with a Bachelors degree, students can choose to apply to a degree (example, Master of Divinity), the non-degree graduate certificate in Christian Studies program, or can apply as special non-degree seeking student. b. For students without a Bachelors degree, students can apply for admission in the non-degree graduate certificate in Christian Studies program. Click here to begin your application. Students are recommended to apply early. Admission is not guaranteed.
c. For students who are admitted to another ATS-accredited seminary who wish to have their courses transcribed for the purposes of transferring credit into another seminary can apply as a visiting student by clicking here. Students should confirm transferability with their home seminary before
d. The option to have a course transcribed by Gordon-Conwell expires two years after the official end date of the completed course. However, once you have been accepted to Gordon-Conwell, you have one year to transcribe your first course to keep your status active at the seminary.
